Venue overview
Uber Arena stands in Berlin's Friedrichshain entertainment district, between two major rail hubs. The area is busy before events but gives international visitors a useful choice of S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram and regional rail connections.

Access and transport
Warschauer Straße is the closest major station, with the arena describing a walk of about five minutes. Berlin Ostbahnhof is another useful approach, around twelve minutes away on foot according to the venue.
Choose the station based on your onward line rather than the shortest inbound walk. After the show, splitting the crowd between the two hubs can be more valuable than saving a few minutes before doors.
Validate current Berlin transport service before leaving. Weekend engineering work can materially change a route even when the venue itself is easy to find.

When to arrive
The venue says doors are commonly around two hours before an event, but explicitly warns that timings vary. Treat the specific event listing as authoritative. If no door time is published, being in the district 60 to 90 minutes before the start leaves room for security without creating an excessive wait.
Pack for the current rule
Bags, entry and venue rules
- Current arena guidance allows only small bags up to A4 size. The promoter can impose a stricter rule for a particular concert.
- Storage capacity for bags is limited. Avoid bringing anything you cannot keep with you if the storage point is full.
- Professional cameras, bottles and other restricted items depend on the event policy. Recheck the FAQ and organiser notice close to the show.

Accessibility planning
The venue identifies accessible entrances at doors 2 and 9 and publishes information about wheelchair positions and adapted toilets.
Seating layouts and companion tickets depend on the promoter. Contact the official ticket seller in advance and keep the response with your travel documents.
Shape the evening
Where to stay and eat
The East Side Gallery and Mercedes Platz area contain many restaurants and hotels. It is convenient but highly event-led. Friedrichshain beyond the immediate complex offers more choice; allow enough time to cross the rail station and bridge approaches when crowds build.
Quick notes
Practical notes
- Compare Warschauer Straße and Ostbahnhof for the return journey.
- Assume bag storage could be full and pack to the A4 limit.
- Check which door serves your ticket before entering the plaza.
